One of the casualties of Hurricane Maria. Place was damaged and owners choose not to reopen. The lack of electricity in Old San Juan for over 2 months was also a reason not to reopen. Sad.
I don’t eat ice cream anymore, but when I did I always stopped here for a Cherry GarcÃa. So much history on these walls. Very cozy and warm place. Friendly and nice staff. A must after a good walk at Old San Juan.
We usually love the OSJ Ben & Jerry’s, but this time they mixed up several items in our order and forgot one. No biggie in the grand scheme of things, but it was annoying. Nevertheless, the cones were delicious.
This is a fun little place to get a good Ice cream treat on a hot day to cool off in San Juan! its in a beautiful little spot too.
After walking for miles in the heat, we came across ben and jerry’s and our legs couldn’t walk through the doors fast enough! It was a welcome treat after being so hot!
We all know the ice cream is delicious but the quaint little store was a great nightcap after a great dinner!Thanks Ben and Jerry!
