The BEST Ice Cream in Rhode Island. Hand made premium ice cream scooped by hand by high school and college kids who come back year afer year. The place is immaculate, the scoopers are polite and charming, and the ice cream is worth a day trip (over any number of bridges) to get to. Pistachio is white (no food coloring) with a richness otherwise unknown. Ginger (if you are lucky enough to get there when they have it in the tubs) is miles beter than anywhere else you will find it (except in the handpacked pints that you can either buy at the Scoop or at a couple of markets). Get a Razzmatazz made with sorbet. Fruit whipped up with raspberry sorbet makes a nondairy treat that keeps you dreaming about your next one!
