The food here was outstanding. Although, the service left something to be desired. Similar to that of a Chili’s or other lower grade restaurant. The waitress was polite, and introduced herself, but didn’t go any further than distribute menus and clear plates. Did not make any menu recommendations or an attempt to upswell the menu and with a restaurant with an atmosphere, food quality and presentation as local, I expected more effort on the server’s part

My only complaintand you may see this other reviewsfood was served on un-heated plates. Within minutes, the sauce on tour diner is cold. But that shouldn’t stop you from going.
Elegant atmosphere, ecclectic food that might not be appreciated by all. Expedient, attentive service. On the pricey side at about $30-35 per entree. Inventive, creative food pairings with fresh ingredients. 3.5/5 stars.
Great bar late night, yet too eat there.
Good Food, Great Service. Loved the Cucumber Soup but strongly veto the Chef’s decision to 86 the Sunchoke, Hazelnut, Cream and Angelito Tart from the menu. What a mistake. I would rather pay more for it than not be able to have it anymore at all. Hats off to Brian (Bartender) who was kind enough to help me through my despair and made the evening enjoyable nonetheless.
Me likey. I like the focus on local and fresh ingredients. Dining area is impeccable. Try the quail or clams. The desserts on my last trip were surprisingly great – best part of the meal. Yum!
Great Experience. My girlfriend and I visited Local 121 about a month ago and thought it was great. The food was great and very well priced. I believe the bill for the two of us was less than $50 and I had a cocktail with dinner and a bowl of soup. The menu changes every season so the produce that they use is at its freshest. I had the braised pork belly with home made saurkraut and spetzel. It was awesome. I talked about that meal for about 2 weeks.
