Rock Solid Fez. One of my all time favorite stomping grounds. Another low key underground place with a less than obvious sign to keep the novice and mainstream at bay. There’s always something good on the menu and the upstairs bar is a fun place to stand around and watch your fellow financially sound hipsters congregate, drink, and shuffle about as the night wears on. Superior wings and fries and definitely the best mac and cheese, and grilled cheese in town. That’s good enough for me. Part of the bedrock foundation of Providence dining.

Used to be pretty good, but the service has really gone down hill lately. The food is ok-ish but they recently split the menu – if you are going definitely go upstairs it’s where all the good food is. The downstairs menu is underwhelming.
Always good and always surprising. The menu is full of fresh, fantastic choices.
I don’t see how anyone is getting anything but the delicious grilled cheese w/ tomato on beautiful (sourdough?) bread. french fries are always excellent. too excellent. Or, the hummus. I’ll go for that any day too.
Say Yez to the Fez. The Fez is one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall joints ever. It’s tiny, dark, and not at all like any other place around. The food is creative, very well prepared and completely delicious. They have great taste in music too and a funky little bar downstairs and a bigger less funky and less interesting bar upstairs. If you are feeling a little adventurous then this is a perfect choice.
Mac N CHEEZ. This place has by far the best mac and cheese in the city. If you aren’t vegetarian do yourself a favor and get it loaded with kielbasa. You will thank yourself after.
