The food. Well the last time i went to this resturant i for one have always liked the food but sometimes i feel that there quility is lacking but the service is always very good just do not go there on a friday or saturday night you will be kept waiting for atleast an hour and also call a head for reservations on holidays
OVERRATED TERRIBLE!. The only way they know how to cook steak is Rare. No matter how you order your steak it will be served to you Rare. Even when you point it out and the bring it back to get cooked longer then bring it back to you the steak will still be cooked Rare. Rarely do I leave a review as terrible as this BUT… are you serious? No effort to make up for it either.Avoid Hugo are slow aloof server at 5:30 when the restaurant is near empty. Better yet, Avoid this OVERATED restaurant.
Decent Food, Terrible Service. We had dinner here last night (a Tuesday) and it was not too busy so they sat us in the bar area at a normal table. The service was extremely slow — long wait to get menus, no explanation of specials, water glasses sat empty the entire meal, waiter disappeared for long periods without any explanation. The food was quite good, generous portions and reasonably priced — in particular the Pork Alentejana. However, the service was so bad I doubt I’d ever return.
Still very good. After all these years, Al Milho has been able to maintain consistency. Since the day he opened, I’ve had the fish fillets and they are just as good, if not better, as the first time.The camaro ailhinho is probably the best around. The service continues to be good. Madeira is still worth a trip to. For someone who has never experienced portuguese food, this place is a must. After more than twenty years, I still enjoy eating here.
To expensive for that kind of food. Restaurant isore famous than good.
