Anna and Steve Papa started a family tradition with a small pizzaria and sub shop on Block Island. Baking and cooking has long been a family tradition, starting with Anna's father, Aldo, and her mother Maria, who helped develop the idea of the Papa's first pizzaria. Over the years just as their family grew so did the restaurant. Now, Aldo's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant on Block Island has been serving delicious Italian Specialties for over 32 Years! A fun & friendly family casual restaurant. I had veal saltimboca and it was excellent – well prepared, service was great, and a good value. Definitely stop next door for ice cream for dessert too.
We enjoyed our food very much. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Our waitress was outstanding.
At Aldos, we dined for a quick lunch, the food was good, the servers better, especially the young woman from the Dominican.
We did not have a lot of time and the pizza slices came out quick and was good. Perfect for a quick bite.
Great food Great service . Love the place . Would definitely go back . The grinder was great . The vealParmigiana was great . See ya again.
