  Stopped in for a late lunch after a day the beach. Great raw bar selection with fresh seafood, island prices for the oysters but that’s to be expected. We got the seafood nachos because they seemed interesting. They were good but not great. Definitely worth a try, but probably would opt for the garlic shrimp app over the nachos next time. Maybe if the seafood on the nachos was sauted with seasoning it would make me get them again. We gambled and lost on the $24 lobster roll and fries. There is a right way to do a $24 lobster roll with fries and a wrong way. This happened to be a wrong way. Get one in town or almost 1/2 the price.

  This is probably the most consistent place on the island. The fish is always fresh. Well prepared and also one of the only places on the island that gives you salads with your entre. The clam chowder is one of the best on the island, probably the best. It is a little unique very hearty. All the other dishes I have had are great. Highly recommended.Today 8/19/2016I went to the beachead to pick up some of their delicious clam chowder to go as I was leaving the island shortly. I was extremely diss appointed with the service. The bar keep noted that I was there and she would take care of me, then proceeded to take care of other customers that had arrived after me. To make a long story short I never received my chowder and had to leave. As such I changed my review.

  Big Improvement. I am not not sure when it happened, but this dull little place with terrific ocean views, which used to serve drinks in plastic cups, has now been hugely upgraded. The views are still great, but the menu has been brought up significantly – my ‘rum painted salmon’ last night was one of the best pieces of salmon I’ve ever tasted. The blue corn dusted calamari was excellent and portioned perfectly for sharing, and all the cocktails were served in real glasses. Additionally the interior has been upgraded with beautiful and rustic-casual wooden beams, a long comfortable bar, and service was infinitely patient with our party of eight including two rambunctious young boys. Kudos on the improvements!

  Middle of the road in service and flavor. The tables were sticky. Yet the view was spectacular.

  Our favorite spot on the Island for lunch. Bloody Marys are great here. Highly recommended.
