Great fresh food. Awesome location. Limited outdoor seating. Good lobster rolls and steamers. Would come back to! Very pleased with the service and the food.

The seafood is fresh. But just average. I had the clam chowder. It was nothing special. I also had the stuffed flounder. Good portions, but again nothing to right home about.

Great service, Mimi was great! The corn on the cob was to die for. The teriyaki mix grill was excellent. Over all, this was a great experience.

09/25/10 We stopped in to Finns for dinner on Saturday night of the 2nd ‘Taste of Block Island’. I ordered the lobster which arrived soaked and swolen. My wife ordered the Stuffed Flounder which made up for its blandness by soaking it in butter. The Clam Chowder was straight out of a Chunky Can. The background behind this place is that they have their own fish market as well as the restraurant. Whatever they do have as far as fish in their market seems moot as the majority of the menu is fried or broiled.

Awesome Location, Atmosphere. Good for a casual lunch sitting outside or a romantic dinner sitting inside with the exposed brick walls — either way you will get fresh simple seafood, most of it locally caught. The fried clams are outstanding and the bartenders are competent.UPDATE: Recent visits have been rather disappointing. The fried clams remain excellent, as is the service at night. But the quality and freshness of the seafood, as well as its preparation were sub-par. I hesitate to recommend it as much as I used to.

    Great coleslaw and fried clams.
