Exquisite, Unpretentious. Executive Chef Brian Hartman serves up creative fare with a strong emphasis on locally sourced produce. This year the watermelon gazpacho was simply perfect — an unusual twist on this summertime classic and made with vegetables from their own garden. Although this spot is romantic and beautiful, the menu is far from intimidating, featuring classics such as grilled local swordfish, beef and pasta dishes. If you are a meat-and-potatoes guy and want to take your date somewhere impressive but not unpronounceable, this is the perfect spot. The atmosphere is relaxed, but I’d still recommend slacks and a polo shirt at least. Be sure and get dessert accompanied by their flaming coffees.
