A small cafe style restaurant in a great location. Our friendly waitress kept the coffee coming & the water glasses filled. The meatball sandwich was generous & the New England chowder was excellent.
Worst table I’ve ever experienced. Short wait and then seated at a booth in the bowels of the restaurant. Less than 2 ‘ from servers window, kitchen door, bus station and bathroom partially blocked by an ATM. Hot, cramped, noisy.Food was average, prices were good, our waiter was polite but short on service.
Upsetting. DO NOT take children here. I have never yelled at restaurant before or been upset enough to write a review. We went there 1/12/13 with our 4 kids. Huge mistake. The place was filled with couples and although we ordered long before many of them even arrived, everyone in the place had their food long before us. Not sure why they served us last, maybe because we were a party of 6 and they did all the smaller parties first…who knows. It was an hour before we got our food. It was my husband’s birthday and he had to stand on the side of the road with a crying baby who was so tired and hungry by that time that he couldn’t even come back in to eat his meal. We went in a happy family on my hubby’s bday and left a very upset and still hungry. This is a disastrous place for families.

Don’t go in, don’t eat the food. Looks decent from outside. Sat down, had to have waitress clean off table, had pile of sticky goop in front of seating area. Disgusting.Ordered hot tea got one tea bag. Water not hot. (why we stayed I don’t know). Ordered strawberry french toast.Believe it or not, the toast was old and stale, tasted like he had this lying around for weeks and the strawberries were smashed,old and stale. My husband ordered pancakes. They were gritty (he did not order johnny cakes) dry and the syrup was a commercial brand not real maple syrup.There was only one other couple in the place and a brash, boisterous local man walked in and struck up a very obviously, non-inviting conversation with the other couple. He tried to get us involved but we gladly ignored him. The management did nothing about the annoying man.
Fast service. Food is good: B+ burger ($6), A for the corn & crab chowder. C for the fish and chips. Just good food at a great price. NO CREDIT!!
