I ate at the Deli today for the first time. There were good points and some not so good. The potato salad and cole slaw were very good, as well as the home made bread. I would have preferred new york style rye, however. But the corned beef was tough to chew, very fatty, and was not sliced properly. It was sliced parallel to the grain, instead of perpendicular, which made it tough to bite and chew. I ordered a pastrami and corned beef sandwich, but there was almst no pastrami, which was a shame. I ended up throwing out all the meat, however my coworker enjoyed his hot pastrami sandwich. My quest for a real New York style deli continues, but I haven’t found one yet. This is more of an Italian deli.
