The place was cheap, dont get me wrong. My coworkers and I decided to check the place out since it is across the street from our job. 2 of them ordered and a friend and I was treated horrible and was asked to leave due to food bought in from Dunkin and a small bakery in town. We agreed on rather walking an extra few minutes to Ploufees cup N saucer, which has amazing service. We were also allowed to bring foreign food inside. It would have been fine if we were asked to leave Village NICELY, but we were asked to leave arrogantly.

Terrible.. Today was my first and last time in this restaurant. Yes they have cheap prices but I’d prefer paying those extra few dollars to get food that’s actually worth eating. Not only was the food gross, but the customar service was worse. They were extremely rude and took much to long making simple dishes. I wouldn’t recommend it for a stray dog.

So good.. Terrible service. Take forever to get your food done. Also, very rude and non-friendly. Unless you want bad service and rudeness, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is the only place I would eat African food! I love this place although I wish it were a tad cheaper.

West African Food. This place serves great food. The owner cooks everything fresh so she can adjust the flavorings (pepper) to your taste. She also is sensitive to what meat or fish you might find appealing – for instance, she gave us tilapia without bones which is not how a west african would eat it but easier for us. Having lived in West Africa I can say this is the real thing. Saturday nights they have music. There is also parking. They also serve an american breakfast and have a few non-African options if you just want a hamburger (or want to bring the kids).

Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff,, but the food was a little too adventurous for me.
