This is probably one of very few restaurants open on thanksgivings. Yes … Wrong planning to head out for sightseeing at providence today. This is located near brown university so be prepared for student and faculty crowd. The restaurant ambience is like a posh diner with Greek music played in the background. Most of the waiters are attentive and helpful. We ordered stuffed mushroom / Mediterranean seafood soup for appetizers. Entree was whole lemon chicken. If you u r going to order that entree better take into consideration an hour cooking time. Appetizers were super tasty and must eat. Chicken was cooked perfectly . We ordered beef bolognaise pasta and it was just ok. I have eaten better pastas before. Do order the warm baileys coffee cream it’s Delish !Seating is a little congested at the window area.
A College Hill Favorite!. I’ve never been disappointed at Andreas! The food is absolutely delicious– especially their Greek style sandwiches (Gyros and Souvlakis), their burgers, and their pasta (The Greek Style Bolognese is amazing). And it’s all reasonably priced– under $10 for the sandwiches/burgers and around $15 for their pastas. And of course the Greek style desserts… the Baklava is to die for. Good service and a warm, nice atmosphere. This place never gets old!
