HMMMmmm. #GuyFieri #DinersDriveinsDives. I think he got this one wrong. Food is underseasoned. (Where is Robert Irvine when you need him ?). Waiter was MIA for most of our meal. Our food was brought out by other folks. And the food….. Two words. Salt and Pepper. Everything needed some. I’m not sure what happened to Guy’s 16 spices but I’m convinced 15 of them fled. The braciola was underseasoned and the pasta sauce runny. The sausage and fries had the same sauce and the fries should have been thrown away at least an hour before they were served to us. Old Heat lamp fries. Blech.

Authentic and Reasonable. Very good traditional Italian offerings. Nice family style atmosphere. Good portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Recently ate her on a Thursday evening and it was packed. Most of the other fancy places in the area were not.
Oh no! What happened?!. How sad for me that one of my favorite places on Federal Hill to go for family friendly, affordable, and delicious Italian food has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. The menu has changed. Prices are up and food quality & service are way down. Not to mention- the portions which used to be a delight are significantly smaller. The pasta sauce is still good but the sausage was terrible. It tasted old and dry. I asked what dishes came with a side salad. The waitress told me that even though it says on the menu that the pasta specialties come with a salad- that it was going to be a $1.50 up charge. I said ok even though it was irritating that the menu was misleading. She then returned to the table to say it was actually going to be a $3.50 up charge. Ok, now I know their salad is just iceberg lettuce with one slice of tomato and one onion. $3.50? Really? Getting more irritated. My boyfriend’s experience was worse- Meatball grinder- sounds easy right? Meatballs- that tasted like they were made from cheap ingredients and loaded with breadcrumbs were thrown on an untoasted roll with no cheese. Where’s the love of food? Where?! Not here. And last straw- hair on the plate. Yuk. The manager was kind enough to remove the price of half of the hairy un-loved sandwich. Gee thanks!Another good restaurant bites the dust! Goodbye Angelos:(
