Always a good go-to spot for take out. This place is always slammed when I order take-out. We moved here from NYC and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and reasonable prices. One caveat – DO NOT order anything extra spicy unless you grew up chewing on thai chilis! To be fair the one dish they ruined with this extra spice was credited back to us so no hard feelings. We’ve ordered take-out from here about 6 times now and are always impressed. Mongolian Beef is a staple – I’m always eager to adventure into new dishes here so they’ve got me going back time and time again.
Decent mixed Asian restaurant. Not Thai, Japanese or Chinese rather a combination hybrid. Good in comparison to Asian restaurants in the Hope St. Area. but wouldn’t recommend it. Bad curry, odd beef teriyaki, and ok Pad Thai.
I am not a big Asian fan but everything we ate tonight was fantastic! Lemongrass chicken wings, crab Rangoon, sesame chicken, and wonton soup. The price is right too! I was really impressed and would definitely come back.
Outstanding value, one of the perks of living near Brown U with its clientele looking for good inexpensive Asian food. Mostly Cambodian and Thai cooking, mildly Americanized, but not the cookie cutter Chinese food one gets all over the US. Yes, it can be crowded and service can be leisurely but folks come here regularly for the combination of taste and value.
Simple review. Meal for two, funny friendly staff, stuffed beyond capacity with really good food for 25 bucks… Can I get an Amen. Amen !
Maybe it was because it was New Year’s Day. Or maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant (this happens, no doubt). However, I really have to wonder why people like this place. The service was rude, the decor decidedly uninteresting, and the food close to awful. I don’t say that lightly- I have wide standards and I don’t expect gourmet standards from every place I eat at- but the duck tasted like it was two days old, the lort was over cooked and unpleasant, and my brother’s chicken tasted like it was coated with cheap grocery store sauce. Thoroughly bad experience, and won’t make me repeat it.
