Delicious Italian fare. Went to eat here today. The food was incredible. Had the Veal Saltimbocca and my wife had a very flavorful penne alla boscaiola. Topped it off with the best tiramisu she has ever had. If you are looking for good Italian food you will like this place. Not much in the way of ambiance however. A little pricey but that is to be expected on the hill.
Never go again!. Went to Caffe Dolce Vita between lunch and dinner mid week.only 4 people in there. waiter very slow, distracted. but at the end of a nice lunch with my husband, i have to be insulted by the waiter because i am trying to wave him down to pay, waited 20 minutes after receiving the bill to pay so started waving with the check so he would come ( he was at the bar talking to a 4 year old) he ignored me and then came over and insulted me! I said gee, you would think you would wait until after i tip to insult me and he just kept it up. I went to the bar manager to speak to her and he jumped in again. she told him to go in the kitchen. his mouth just kept of flapping.not worth it. would never go back. you just lost a customer for your owner mister, you should be fired!!!

What a Great Place. Caffe Dolce Vita is such a quaint and delicious little place. The atmosphere is very Italian and the location in the piazza on Federal HIll is wonderful. I can’t wait to try this place in the summer time when the tables are set up outside and the fountain is running! Loved this place and can’t wait to bring my girlfriends here!
Great Place To Go. DePasquale square is the place to go in the summer to people watch, but it’s a great place to go in winter too! This is my go to place for breakfast on Sunday. Love the food, love the service, love the atmosphere.
Bum’s rush, bad taste. We have enjoyed many great meals and this restaurant and often bring a large group. We brought a group of 8 from out of state with a reservation. At the end of the meal after paying, we were told to leave by the bartender due to waiting patrons. Nobody was waiting and another table had turned over. It was embarassing, will not bring a group to this place again!
Prosciutto and Mozzarella Sandwich. Delicious, fresh mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, balsamic vineger, prosciutto all in a perfect roll.
