Good fresh food… This place is a small joint on my way from home to providence downtown but is in a neighborhood where i would not want to sit & eat but after reading a couple of good reviews i decided to do a take-out and must say it was a great idea.. we ordered the quesadilla & tacos both fish and chicken.. the food was ready in abt 10 mins, was fresh, hot & yummy.. the side sauce was a bit spicy but added tonnes of flavor to the food.all in all a good place & i would go here again soon
Best in town. Absolutely the best mexican food in town. I read a review about Lupita’s being one of the best in the Nation, so I also decided to try this place which is less than a mile away. Not even close, California Taco is far better. I lived in Cali, so I know what good mexican food tastes like. Everything is made inhouse, the hot salsa is really good. My wife loved the chicken enchilada, I had the $1 tacos, five in total. Great way to go because you can try different kinds. The tortillas were fresh and with good flavor. The staff was also very pleasant.
