Great Italian food. My wife and I have been eating here for years. We eat here two to three times a year. Coming from Massachusetts on special occasions. The food and the service is always very good. I like the Seafood where my wife gets the Pasta dishes. I never remember a time where I was not happy with my food choice at Cassarino’s.

Great Food on the Hill. My wife and I recently sampled several restaurants on Federal Hill for an upcoming dinner with friends visiting from out of town. To fairly judge each restaurant we decided to have one of our favorite dishes in all of thempasta for me and eggplant Parmesan for her. We decided that if an Italian restaurant could not make good pasta or eggplant why would we expect their other dishes to be worth having? With this in mind we started our mini tasting on the Hill. Our decision was easy; Cassarinos was clearly the best of the four restaurants we tried.My bowl of capellini alla Puttanesca was superb! The ultra-thin pasta was firm and tender, covered with crushed tomatoes, garlic, olives, capers and anchovies. To my wifes delight the eggplant Parmesan was delicious, crispy, golden brown slices of eggplant topped with a rich tomato sauce beneath a slice of melted mozzarella cheese. This also came with a healthy serving of tender and sweet gnocchia real treat by itself. Overall our dining experience at Cassarinos was unhurried in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We cant wait to go back there with our friends.
Great Dinning Experience. Dined at Cassarinos just the other day, had a great meal from the burrata chesse appetizer to the veal chop entre, excellently prepared and the cocktails (sangria) were excellent as well

Great service good food- management poor. Said they could accomodate large group. After seating us and putting in drink order, manager said we have to move. Unprofessional, poor management.
This restaurants food was very good everyone seemed to enjoy it. I had gotten the pork stuffed with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto and that was very good and it was a large portion. Everything was great besides our waiter, he wasn’t very respectful to my party probably because we are all young. He didn’t tell us the specials and leaned up against our boothes when he took our order. Overall the food was great the only down fall was the waiter.
