Not a sushi restaurant. I went in expecting a japanese restaurant to have sushi but they dont. as a matter of fact the only sushi they had was a special. however, they did have other items on the menu that was delicious. I love all their ramens and the curry. all the app’s are good as well, esp the octopus balls! i would describe their flavors as very authentic japanese… light and earthy flavors. Prices are also extremely (and i mean EXTREMELY) reasonable. PS: go for lunch, its only 8.50 and comes with a lot 🙂
Swish, swish. Shabu, shabu. Ebisu was supremely fantastic. We ordered gyozas, asparagus wrapped in bacon, seafood and meat shabu shabu. The food was fresh, authentic and delicious. Also, the tempura fried icecream was heavenly. The service was excellent. This place is an absolute gem! Ebisu will be my regular go to place.
This is my one and only japanese restaurant I go to. The service is excellent, spectacular food along with spectacular specials. Nice choice in quality sake and a relaxed atmosphere. U get your monies worth here. 5 star
Terrific!. My friend and I went to Ebisu last night specifically to try the shabu shabu and we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh, carefully prepared and very tasty. The service was also great – very attentive. They explained what to do, described the yummy sauces that were offered and talked a bit about the history of shabu shabu in Asian culture. Lots of fun and delicious. I think we might have found a new regular spot!
Loved it!. Awesome to find something different with great, friendly, helpful service! I will be back for lunch! I was thrilled to find out they are open for lunch on Friday and Saturday.Nice relaxing atmosphere and much more authentic than some japanese restaurants in our area.
Shabu shabu. Fantastic food ( I had seafood & beef shabu), generous portions & very friendly service. A fun first date spot 🙂
