Awful. I used to love it here… Great food and excellent beverages but the bar staff and the skinny girl who walks around like the manager need to learn some manners. They know me well and when the valet got in an accident with my car they treated me like garbage. The police came, took a report from both parties and were right outside the door the whole time but the staffs behaviour towards me when I asked too use the restroom was horrendous. Even the cop was appalled. No compassion at all but ready to take my money when I’m a customer and treat me wonderful then. My friends and I have been going here for years and we will NOT be returning. Phillipe should be ashamed that be employs people like that.

Disapointing food and service. I will keep this short. I had two meals at Kartabar, due to the fact that I had to send one back (should have sent both back)! First I ordered the scallops; over cooked, hard and fishy. I then asked for the linguini and clams. Linguini cooked well, however the clams were also extremely fishy as if they were weeks old. On top of this it is a very small restaurtant that was over staffed with servers, all who hung out at the bar all night and it was difficult to get their attention. I would never go back here, EVER!
Daytime-Food, Nighttime-Drinks. Kartabar is a great spot for lunch on a sunny day. The menu offers up a variety of basic entrees, each equally good. The best part about Kartabar however is their drinks at night. If you’re lucky enough to be able to grab a table in the back, you are sure to enjoy a much quieter and more intimate evening away from the 30+ crowd that seems to gather in the front bar.A good spot for lunch during the day, certainly sub-par menu for dinner, but the drinks make up for the evening aspect.
