A perfect breakfast spot (all day spot actually). It’s a go to place for a fulfilling meal. It’s BYoB and very conveniently located above a liquor store.I love the lasagna and the broccoli.
Meet Meat at Meeting Street. Been going here since the 80s and it remains one of the best sandwich spots in Providence with very reasonable prices for top quality food. The sandwiches are enormous and heaped with meat so get a half unless you want to share or take it home. Delicious desserts are also gigantic and beat anything you can get at one of the over rated cupcake extravaganzas. Would be great if they finally expanded and went downtown.
Breakfast any Time. We stopped here for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty busy. One of the best features of this restaurant is that they serve breakfast all day. I ordered a turkey sandwich on rye and my honey had a roast beef sandwich on a roll. The food was delicious; you self order and it is delivered to your table. The coffee was very good and the desserts were beautiful. This is a great stop on the East Side of Providence for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner..
