Cheap and Tasty. I needed a tortilla press, and rather than Amazon it, we drove down to Sanchez. First of all, the store portion made us feel like we were back in Texas — I loaded up on all sorts of items that I’ve been missing at Stop n’ Shop. There’s a tiny counter in the back where you order your food. My wife had a pork tamale, and I had one each of the pollo, carnitas and chorizo tacos. Each taco came wrapped up in two corn tortillas, which was tortilla overkill in my opinion, they weren’t overstuffed to the point they needed support. My wife happily grabbed my extras to eat with her delicious tamale (it’s a damn big tamale, one is a good lunch). The chorizo was a little dry for my taste, and was improved with the addition of hot sauce. The chicken was good, but the carnitas were great. For an under-$10 lunch, it was fantastic.
