Insipid buffet. We tried this on a stop at Brown University. I have a general wariness towards buffets at Indian restaurants. Most disappoint. So did this one. The price at $ 9.95 for lunch was reasonable. The food lacked freshness and mostly unappealing. The tandoori chicken was lame, again lacking freshness, possibly reheated.
Fantastic first experience!!. My first experience with Indian food was great. The dish that I had was called Malai Kofta and it was suburb. Very comforting yet a new taste for my pallet. It was smooth and creamy yet very substantial. I also tried two different kinds of stuffed nan, the cilantro and onion type and the vegetable type. Both were amazing so warm and fluffy.
During this summer we did nothing but eat. Can I tell you it was organismically good food. Sweet heavens the mussels were to die for. Best thing next too passion. Good ! Good and gooder!!!!
Imitated , but not duplicated. AUTHENTIC that alone is a rarity — saag slowly cooked and spiced over tandoori rice , not just tasteless spinach thrown over white rice Taste of India has been serving amazing Indian food for over 25 years to me , authentic and flavorful , not americanized fast-food style what they may lack in contemporary decor they more than make up in meal preparation and BYOB!!
