Best Italian on Fed Hill. In my opinion the best place for Italian on Fed Hill. The Veal Voldistano (spelled that wrong) is awesome! Apps are great and food every disappoints. Love this place.
Good restaurant. Very good service and food. We had a seat at the window which opens to Atwells ave. Competitively priced. Goat cheese tortellini and veal dishes were excellent. The calamari was awesome. Salty but awesome! Great night!
They need to get it together. We have been here several times. The food has always been good and we like the location but the service is unacceptably bad. I am not someone that goes out and looks for things to complain about, if the server is friendly and somewhat knowledgable, I am happy. This is not the case here….they need to invest in training and common sense customer service. I might try them again but not for a long time.
Hibiscus cocktail was complex and excellent. The bread was plain served with ordinary table sal and olive oil. Appetizer of calamari was pan fried in burnt butter. I thought the menu was ala carte until the veal chop parmigiana arrived with ordinary penne –at $34. A side of what appeared to be homemade noodles with a pine nut and mushroom aioli was good. Seafood special was plain an unimaginative. The waiter offered some good wine and the bread pudding ok. Svc was fair –waiter forgot things.
I thought it was lovely. Ordered all the specials creamy tomato soup with cheese, caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes and prosciutto, trout with pine nuts and lemon wine sauce. Not the fancy menu names, just yummy food. Add tow glasses of nice Montepulciano and the bill was $75 but definitely worth it for me. I travel and eat out a lot. This was beyond good! I have a pictur to add but not sure how 🙁
Fantastic! Well timed service and outstanding food. Hand made pasta perfection. Great atmosphere. Will most definatly be back!!
Authentic and creative cuisine…HOMEMADE pasta. Everything was delicious. Nice decor. Fun, upscale restaurant in heart of Italian neighborhood. Would visit again!
