Our quest for a good veal parmigiana like back home(the North End of Boston)brought us to Casa Belle. We were not disappointed. When we arrived we were asked if we had reservations which we did not. It was prom night but luckily we were there early enough to be served. The food, service and ambiance were absolutely wonderful. Everything we ordered was fresh and wonderfully prepared from the appetizers to the main course. Hats off to the entire staff and the owners. This was a dining experience second to none. I suggest you have a reservation and give yourself a couple hours to truly enjoy and savor what Casa Bella has to offer.
A fantastic local restaurant. First, I want to note that the atmosphere of this restaurant is very quiet, warm, and intimate. Please do not bring small children! The food is excellent. You get quite a good amount for the price you are paying, and the quality tops that of any other Italian restaurant I have been to. I actually eat the appetizer salad. The vegetables are fresh and served with a dish of tasty roasted garlic. Whenever I order a pasta dish that includes chicken, there are large, tender pieces of it – not small, mediocre chunks with fat.Service is great. The staff is friendly. They are professional without being snobbish or pretentious.
The seabass was delicious, but a bit overpriced at $34. Boyfriend’s chicken was a little bit well done, but good flavor. Vegetables were cooked perfectly, still a little crispy. Tirimisu was lackluster, but overall a good experience. Service was great, the waitress even found a candle for the boyfriend’s cannoli (it was his birthday). Might try it again.
Really enjoyed this place. The appetizers were great, we had one of almost all of them. The bruschetta didn’t crack your teeth, but nor was it soggy-just perfect and tasty. Their ceasar dressing was ok, but coulda been tastier. The main meals were great as well. Service was good, even with a party of 20. Now I will say, the curtains could use some updating!!!
Great Authentic Pasta and Sauce. If you’ve never had real Italian pasta and sauce you need to try this restaurant..forget the steaks and trumped up dishes- the linguine with meatballs or shrimp or the daily fish is what you should have. You can play around with the menu some when it comes to having your meat or fish over pasta. Prices are high for Aiken especially if you don’t want the included salad and bread . Seating is a little cramped and there can be an aura of stress in the air- so not always relaxing. Office groups are an inconvenience around the small bar before seatings.
Casa Bella is by far my favorite restaurant in Aiken. It’s a little bit more than other restaurants but it’s worth it! The food is amazing! The portion size for most dishes is quite large as well. I recommend the chicken parmesan!
Wonderful. I really like this restaurant! Delicious food and great service. The atmosphere is nice too. I consistently have GREAT food here.
