Pork Scallopini. Incredible Dish. Absolutely Mouthwatering and truly comforting
Loved it!. Visiting the area and found Malia’s and fell in love with the food and the service. Ten of us and we were all so happy!! Will return again for sure. A much go to place. Have a drink, relax and enjoy the fabulous food and atmosphere!
This is where my husband and I tried… And go for every special occasion. It feels like the food was prepared just for you! I am reading reviews and am stunned. We have been going for birthdays and our anniversary for 5 years now – it never changes. We walk out amazed. Honestly. I’ve never had salmon that stays hot the entire time I’m eating it! No, the portions aren’t humongous, they are right. Just right. And good! Oh so good! My husband’s had the duck twice – it’s not always available – and it’s his #1 fav! I’m seafood. And oohhh, it’s always to perfection. We are from Michigan (5 years ago) and love the restaurant in Aiken— but Malia’s– it’s simply special :))
My meal at Malia’s wad the best I’ve had in ages. Usually expect to pay at least double for that quality cuisine. Excellent, can’t wait to go back.
Has the potential to be good but it’s mostly just meh. There are better choices in downtown Aiken.
What an awful restaurant. Called ahead for an 8pm reservation. Got there and waited at reception desk for 10 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. We were seated by the moody hostess and waited for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to us. Another 10 minutes to get a glass of wine. Our waitress (and the rest of the wait staff) acted like they truly hate their jobs (and customers) Ordered the vegetable fondue appetizer which was more like vegetable queso dip with absolutely no flavor. The blue corn chips that came with it looked like someone sat on the bag beforehand. They were so crushed we couldn’t even get them in the dip without dragging our fingers in it. Spinach salad came next. What a disaster. It wasn’t even tossed to blend the dressing in. There wasn’t enough dressing applied on top either so I had the pleasure of eating dry spinach leaves and over toasted (bordering on burnt) walnuts. In the meantime our waitress continued to act like she was doing us a huge favor by keeping our water glass full. The bread that came with our salad had obviously been left on a warmer for hours and was hard as a brick. It was like trying to chew a stale granola bar. I ordered the duck since we werent even told the specials until we asked if they had any and then were told they ran out of the special, at 8pm?. It came with under cooked (I.e., raw) asparagus and was dry as a bone. We didn’t even bother to order desert. We waited for 15 minutes for our waitress to clear our plates and asked for the bill. She brought us our check and then went to the back of the restaurant to chit chat with the rest of the wait staff. We could see her with her back to us and after another 10 minutes we finally got her attention to come pick up the tab. For the prices they charge (our meal was $90 plus tip) they have to provide much better service and food. We will never go back.
Disappointed. Food lacks flavor. Ordered burger which was good but lacked something. Waitress got into a tizzy when I asked for ketchup. No choice in sides. Mashed potatoes watery. Took really long time to get appetizers and meal and it wasn’t even busy. Moody bunch of employees. Wife had salmon that I know wasn’t fresh and it was small and dry.
