Noticed today while browsing through the site that I never rated new moon. What an oversight on my part. I only lived in Aiken for about a year, but its hard to oversell how big new moon was for me while I was there. It was my favorite place for coffee. It was a great place to sit and get work done on weekends. They had great sandwiches and soups. Friendly, welcoming staff. There was no negative. I miss it like crazy. I dont miss much about living in Aiken: hitchcock woods, friends, and sitting outside New Moon enjoying the lovely downtown that Aiken has. Ive moved to a much bigger city (Charlotte) and there is no place that completely replaces what new moon was for me for the short time I worked on the SRS. Great place.
