    Please do not support this business. We were in town for the Masters, and wanted to celebrate our last night of an awesome trip with a nice meal, however that did not happen. We ordered a steak medium, and it came out completely rare. Not being the people to complain, we were hemming and hawing over whether to say something but we decided to because it was not an inexpensive meal. After telling our waitress, she kindly took it back to the kitchen to have them cook it some more. She brought it back out about 5 minutes later more burnt on the outside with the middle again completely rare. After choking some of it down, we decided to leave, but not before asking for the manager who also happens to be the owner. We saw our waitress talk to him, and reluctantly she came back with the check saying that he said we should have sent the steak back again. We couldn’t believe that the owner wouldn’t even make some sort of effort to apologize, and instead completely put the blame on us. It was unreal that he made his staff do his dirty work. And of course once we went to leave he went to hide in the back so we couldn’t speak with him. Talk about TERRIBLE customer service. Again I say, Please do not support this business.

Any novice could prepare a better fillet and lobster tail..

    I had a great experience. Delicious, perfectly prepared steak and good sides and wine. Very attentive staff. I will be returning.

    First and Last Visit. Save your money and run! This restaurant is horrible. The food is mediocre and the manager is rude.Our appetizer, salad, side dishes, and veal parmesan (a special that evening) tasted no better than what you would pay much less for at Olive Garden or Applebees. For the prices we paid, we expected much higher quality in the ingredients, the preparation, and the presentation. All were mediocre.But since this restaurant advertises itself as a steakhouse, we thought surely they would get that part right. For $35 a steak, expectations are high. But no! After waiting almost one hour, the steak which my husband ordered medium-rare arrived medium well and it was cold to the touch. Ugh!The waitress came by and asked how our meals were. My husband showed her his steak and asked how she thought it looked. She said it clearly was not medium-rare, it was medium or medium well. She was very apologetic and offered to have another steak made for us. My husband said he did not want to wait another hour and he was just going to eat this one. The waitress apologized profusely and we continued our meal.About 10 minutes later the owner came over to our table and asked how our dinner was. My husband said, Not very good. He showed the owner his steak and asked the owner how he thought it was prepared. The owner first said medium, then quickly said, Thats medium rare even though it obviously was not. My husband was still seated, and the owner was standing very close and talking aggressively. He said he wanted to make my husband another steak. My husband said we did not have time to wait for another steak. The owner angrily told my husband that he didnt want any customers to be unhappy and he should be able to make another steak glaring at my husband like it was his fault the meal was bad! My husband calmly said that he hadnt complained, he was just answering the owners question. The owner had initiated the conversation. The owner eventually stalked off. We got the impression that he tried to blame us for his kitchens poor performance. Talk about customer service! Very strange.The waitress, who was the best part of the entire experience, came back over and said shed told the chef, who apologized. She said it was a good thing we had not requested another steak, since the chef was still completely backlogged and swamped in the kitchen. She said that just before we arrived, a reservation of 25 people had come in for an office party. Everyone had ordered at once and the kitchen simply could not keep up. Obviously, the manager/owner, despite his touted experience, was incapable of handling his restaurant, despite knowing in advance he would have this large party. Its too bad he took his frustrations out on the customers, instead of focusing on how he could make himself and his restaurant better.The waitress did not charge us for the appetizer and we tipped her fully, since the chefs error and the owners rudeness were not her fault. But we will never go back. Aiken has so many great restaurants, there is no need to waste money on this one.

    Terrrible. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The owner didn’t like it when we said our steak was dry he pulled it apart in from of us with a spoon and argued with us, then wanted to still charge for it. He was condescending, rude and arrogant. Would never go back or recommend it to our customers or friends.

    This is my favorite place in Aiken, my husband and I go often as possible. You can tell that the owner really cares about service from atmosphere to product- the chipotle clams are addicting!
