Ethel and will. We have been there several times,and both times, the personnel and the food was awesome…..i love the atmosphere, the feel of your food being prepared in front of you is exciting also….the taste is wonderful, all I can say, is keep up the great work…….
So I went thinking this was going to be Aiken’s version of my all time favorite sushi place from home. WRONG is an understatement. I don’t know if it was because it was Sunday, or because they weren’t busy and didn’t want to pull the good stuff out or what, but it was not good sushi. I’m used to my seaweed salad coming out first, I really didn’t think I was going to get it at all. The best part was the free sample of the veggie roll they let me try – IT was fabulous.

Very good food, but it usually depends on your cook. The owner is nice and welcoming, great customer service. I’ve been going here for at least 4 years now probably longer. Once the building was remodelled the food got way better. It is a bit warm from the cooking tables but i like to be warm. Love the soup and the steak and the rice. Also like the sushi. The place does have its bad days but every resturant does. Overall i would reccomend it to anyone. Plus i like it waaayyyy better yhan kobes, their soup sucks compared to sakuras. Also the customer service is better at sakuras than kobes. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes here and ive never made a reservation. Even when its rush hour i get seated fairly quickly. Make sure your entire party is there reservation or not though because it is company policy to not seat you until your entire party is there, which. I think is smart because it moves people through quicker. Love the food abd the environment and the chefs.
The parking lot is always full, but unless things have changed in the last year or so, I won’t go back. The restaurant stinks! They must have a bad ventilation system, it smells strongly of rancid vegetable oil. Yuck!
