The pork is alright, but everything else is as bland as could be imagined. The chicken was some bizarre, poached cube meat with a sprinkle of paprika, and the hash was some pablum thing. We tried the whole gamut, out of respect, but nahhhhh. Icks.
Worst BBQ I have had on a long time the pork was like roast or baked no smoke favor at all no table service and window service slow. Their greens did taste fresh. But this is not the place for old southern pit BBQ
Brushy Creek has been in this location for decades. In the beginning, it was quite good, not now. The restaurant is in need of major updating. Don’t eat here expecting great SC Bar-B-Q b/c it’s not here. Try Henry’s Smokehouse or Charlie’s.
Is there anything less to give then one star? The ribs where cold, the BBQ was cold, the beans and coleslaw tasteless, the room smelled musty and on top of it the air condition made it feel like sitting in a fridge.
