I recommend it for a sailor’s breakfast for members or visitors to Western Carolina Sailing Club. Omelettes are the greatest. To go order will get sleepy heads moving. Less than 3 miles away. Highlander Fleet approved.

Way too expensive! The food is mediocre at best. I had a salad and water. My daughter had a hamburger and sweet tea. Our bill was $15!! Then they charge you .75 for using a debit card!

Nice Little Find. This place is not on my side of town, but I often passed it on the way to see friends and it always looked busy and intriguing. I finally got to try it out with some friends and it was quite nice. They have a good variety of choices for everyone and seem to do them all quite well. It seems to be better than The Nutty Sweet Shop, but has very similar fare. I hope to have a reason to be over that way during breakfast some day.EDIT: This place is WAY better than The Nutty Sweet Shop could ever hope to be. Lots of options here and they are always great at decent prices. Great service. Great burgers! Good specials! We go whenever we can, now that my wife’s parents live on that side of town.EDIT: March 2016–I have received my 3rd terrible meal from here & do not intend to return unless I’m invited by family or I want ice cream. I just can’t afford to pay people for material the quality of which if I had made myself, would make me consider my next meal to be buckshot. The place has lost its former luster. They may still have good things, but if so, I’ve not been ordering them. The quality of the ingredients is the problem. I ordered a fish sandwich. Of course, they use a frozen breaded fish filet–I knew that was coming, but the fish was not discernible as meat and it had all the flavor and consistency of drywall compound. If you cannot do something at least half-good, don’t do it at all. My wife’s hot dogs and tots were satisfactory, but that’s a hard one to ruin–a 4-yr old can prepare hotdogs. Service, as usual was friendly. One other thing though: our meal ticket WITH TAX when added up, was supposed to be one total, yet when I got to the register, the lady gave me a higher total. She asked if I wanted to add a tip, and after I calculated the tip I wanted to add, but before I told her, the total on the register had gone up to a third total. I said something to her about it, but either she ignored me or has a lot of trouble hearing. I just paid and left. I don’t argue–I simply don’t return. As an establishment, do not approach tips this way. Avoid misunderstandings by the following: print the ticket, have the customer write in their tip without announcing it to the world, and run the card. Maybe it’s just me, but I believe that the quality of an establishment should not be related to my level of complaint. Just do it right, consistently, unprompted by complaint, and you will have unlimited success.

Typical Southern breakfast: badic two eggs, bacon, biscuit, grits kind of menu. Don’t expect anything beyond that norm. The price is decent though: $3.99 for the standard. But serving coffee in styrofoam cups should be a no-no in any sit-down establishment. We wind up there out of desperation about once every other month.
