I ordered Orange peel chicken but did not realize it was fried breasts of chicken with an orange glaze dressing. Service was a little slow but very friendly. Wonton soup was great!

I don’t eat Chinese very often. For me it’s one of those cravings that needs to be sated every once in a while. That being said, when the craving hits I prefer to satisfy it with quality Chinese. The Chinese at Grand China Restaurant, however did not meet my standards. I ordered some General Tso’s Chicken and teriyaki chicken on a stick. The General was listed separate on the menu as hot and spicy. There was a pepper in it that was indeed hot and spicy but as the a insinuates, it was a solitary pepper. Additionally, it was more like General Tso’s Chicken Soup. That was somewhat displeasing as I had to dump all the rice in the dish to soak up the sauce. The teriyaki chicken on a stick was just fried chicken strips on a stick. If there was teriyaki it was the most flavorless, colorless teriyaki ever. My dogs enjoyed them immensely. The staff was very nice but good food needs to accompany them. I doubt I will make a return trip.

Best Chinese Food In Anderson, SC . . . Hands down.. We’ve been eating at Grand China for nearly 20 years now and in my opinion this is the best Chinese food in the Anderson, SC area. They don’t do buffet, which is really a good thing. The owner is very nice guy and they are always very accommodating if you ask them. I recall once asking them to leave the celery out of one dish and they did it with no problem. This is something that not every restaurant is willing to do. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Their egg rolls and duck sauce are the best I’ve eaten anywhere.

Eaten several meals here and have always been very happy with food quality and service. No over salted msg taste. They are my first choice for Chinese food!

I went here thinking this place would be decent based on the rating but it was very bad. Don’t waste your time or money.
