BBQ as it should be.. The only thing wrong with this family restaurant is that it is only open on Saturday. Also take cash. Great tasting food, large portions, friendly service. A nice drive from northeast Georgia across the river into South Carolina.
BBQ Meal. When raining you park in soggy grass, they only have 3 sides to choose from (the fries are also soggy with grease), and the roll (or bun) is not heated–they are served cold. The only good thing is the people are nice.
Best BBQ in SC!. I’ve been to BBQ restaurants all around SC (and many other states), and have found Sadlers Creek to be the best! I no longer search for BBQ anywhere – I’ve found the best, and if I can only get it on Saturdays, then it is worth the wait!The Chopped Pork BBQ is so moist and flavorful that it doesn’t need any sauce – but you should still try some because the sauce is also spectacular!The Brunswick Stew is the best I’ve ever had, and the fries and beans are great! You can find the stew, sauce, and BBQ at at least one local market, but it still doesn’t compare with the real deal – I promise that Saturday will be your BBQ day from now on! You may even want to plan your trip to Anderson, SC around Sadler’s Creek and a trip to the lake – but be warned, you’ll be back soon!
A simple setting in the country is the location of this local favorite. Serving sizes are large and tasty. Pulled pork is the obvious choice but chicken or ribs are good options as well. If you like cold slaw get it here.
