If you can get past the feral cats lingering around to enjoy whatever you drop while eating on the deck – or helping themselves to the plates that remain on the outside tables, you’re doing better than I. There are WAY too many servers standing around talking to each other and even though I mentioned the cats/gross view upon ordering, the waitstaff continued to chat and the asian woman who was serving outdoors continued to add dishes to the table the cats were eating from. Do they have a broad selection? Yes. Overall, is the sushi good? Yes. Do I have ANY interest in returning? Absolutely not. If they are this nasty in public view…what’s going on in the kitchen?

I have to say I was a bit disappointed. They definitely had a lot of rolls. I’m a visual person, the pictures were too small and they all ended up sounding the same. I thought I had ordered an Oceans Eleven and a Firecracker. I ended up only getting the Firecracker and by the time I realized they weren’t working on my other one, I’d lost interest. The Firecracker was too much deep fried and the pieces weren’t edible whole. The nigiri started out being some of the best I’ve ever had – first time in a long time I didn’t have to scrape some of the excessive rice away. The eel (my favorite), however was not that great. They do seem to have an extensive menu, the service was ok and the sushi bar chefs very nice. I did not like how closed off the entry felt. I couldn’t tell how big the place was, if they had a bar (sushi or otherwise) or if there was even anybody there.

Most interesting combinations of sushi around. The specials are always worth trying but plenty on the menu too. Try Oceans 11, First Love, Lady Gaga, Zen Burrito or my fav is Top Gun (lit on fire!).

The food is too sweat. The chef does not understand what the authentic Japanese food should be. If you want to taste Japanese food, you may try Fuji or Blue Heron at Clemson. Do not sit on the bar. The chef is unfriendly, but the waitresses are very kind and nice.

Nasty Chef.. I’m shocked to read these reviews praising this dirty place! This restaurant may look nice, but go inside, you will smell a heavy musky atmosphere. It’s unacceptable. My husband wanted to leave right away, but Iurged we stay and see how the food is…. The food was subpar. The chef in a bar and hostess are totally unfriendly.

A gem — and the best kept secret in the Greenville/Anderson SC area. Sushi was very fresh and excellent, probably the best in the state. My server was Patrick and he did a great job. This place is on the lake and has a great ambience and overall decor. You can sit outside and enjoy a very nice view. Great for either a nice romantic date or even a group of friends to get together as it has that ‘cool’ factor. Prices are reasonably good, especially for the high quality of the food. I would highly recommend their chocolate cake dessert! It was moist and fresh and a wonderful finish to the meal. If you are anywhere within a 100 mile drive of this place, it is worth it! I look forward to coming back.
