Chipotle as a chain is one of my favorite fast-casual experiences, offering high-quality, fresh food prepared simply and flavorfully. It is healthier than most fast-food type options, and also allows the customer to fully customize their order and see it made right in front of them. My favorite option here is the barbacoa bowl, heaping full with deliciously marinated slow-cooked meat, brown rice, black beans, pico, corn salsa, lettuce, and cheese. I’ve only been to this Bluffton location once (located at the Tanger outlets), but three things to note that made this experience especially good:1. This location is very new, and is clearly well maintained.2. There is a very nice exterior patio dining area. You can overlook the nearby shops and people watch while sitting comfortably under large sun umbrellas.3. The service I had on this occasion was notably excellent. The employee who took my order and assembled my meal was incredibly friendly, and seemed to be the rare fast-food employee who genuinely enjoyed interacting with people and serving the public.
I rated Chipotle a 4.0 because it is always tasty. The best of all the fast food Mexican restaurants. However the cost of a tortilla, beans, and rice is rediculous. I don’t get it. But there is something about that jasmine rice and cilantro that I do love!
I am a major fan of Chipotle. It’s a much healthier alternative to Moes and the flavor is much better. Unlike Moes you don’t get yelled at when you enter and you don’t leave smelling like fried chips. I eat Chipotle almost every week and use then often for catering lunches at work. Their Burrito Boxes are wonderful! Of the regular burrito is too much for you to eat, try ordering just two soft tacos. You can get different fillings or the same but it will not be as much. The normal order size for soft tacos is 3 so be sure to say that you only want two.
Good but…. I think I was the last one on the planet to eat at Chipotle but it just came to Bluffton. I found it good but inferior to Moe’s. Im somewhat surprised at the all the fanfare the chain gets for such limited selection. Ill go again but prefer Moe’s with a similar format.
