Well things started off good…. Drinks and appetizer were great. It took over 30 minutes to get a kids Mac n Cheese. And then the our shrimp steamer pot took 45 mins!!!! It was suppose have shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage. All we got was shrimp, 3 tiny pieces of sausage and 1/2 ear of corn that was raw. Apparently they ran out of potatoes and were about out of sausage. $70 later we left hungry!!!!!
Best brunch. Came here for sunday brunch while camping at the state park nearby. One of the best brunch places. Food was spectacular (you have to try the island seafood supreme soup)The naysayers will never be happy. Don’t let them sway you from at least trying it once. Being from a city with a huge food scene (Nashville TN) I can say that this is a great place.Their outdoor patio is beautiful. Try to sit out there if you like the outdoors.Enjoy!
The complainers about this place are foolish!! We went for Sunday brunch – they do take reservations. Bloody Mary bar included bacon and shrimp – best I’ve ever had! Crab cake eggs Benedict was awesome! Wonderful view and excellent service to top it all off. Can’t wait to return on our next trip
Ate brunch here. The food was terrible as was the service. Will not eat here again.
GREAT FOOD QUALITY, GREAT VIEW OF MARSHFRONT, BAD SERVICE, HIGH PRICES, & SUPER SMALL PORTIONS. I bought the Bering Sea Pot for a whopping $36, which at most seafood restraunts I can share with my husband and daughter. It is advertised as 1.5 lbs of snow crab legs, .5 lb crab claws, clams, wild boar sausage, potatoes and corn. I get the beer bucket – not pot and to my surprise there was only 2 clusters of snow crab and I buy snow crab from the store when you buy a 1.5 lbs it is usually at least 5 clusters. Then the .5 lb of claws equalled to 3 – & it only had 3 clams too!!! The wild boar sausage had 4 pieces the size of a nickle and the thickness of a pencil. When you buy $36 worth of meat you would thank it would be enough to fill at least at least one persons belly or at least be the amounts as advertised and I know what a pound and half of snow crab should be and 2 clusters is about half of that!! And to prove it follow this link http://www.chacha.com/question/how-many-clusters-of-crab-legs-are-in-a-poundSeriously Foolish Frogs, your atmosphere is great your food tastes great but your prices are too high and portions are too small. Start giving people what is advertised on the menu and it should def be more than 2 clusters for a a poound and half of snow crab!!! 🙂 To comment on the other food entrees we ordered, it is the same, the slamon, steak and flouder type of casserol were all the size of my top part of a balled up fist – and i am woman and have small hands!!! To be honest the best portions recieved were in the kids meal chicken tenders my daughter got three strips too bad we cant order from it! hehe Upon looking around at other customers plates I noticed everyone had small portions too with all different kjinds of entrees EXCEPT the pasta – and everyone that seemed to be a regular was eating pasta so that leads me to believe if you are eating there to get full you better order something with pasta!!! Oh yea and as far as swervice goes the parking lot was full byt the time we left at 7 but when we first came it was empty at 6 and the waitress took forever for our drinks, there was not a single person at the table that did not have to wait for there drinks for at least five minutes or so even after trying everything we could to get our servers attention as she kept briskly walking by ignoring us!!! Needless to say our last drinks came after dinner was over and we ordered them when we started eating! And no kid activities (like coloring) so bring in something to keep their minds busy 😉 I do not reccommend for special occasions they simply do not have the seating capacity to handle large amounts of people unless you reserve there entire outdoor deck! For a salmon, chicken tenders, bering sea pot no alcohol only water and a childs sprite we left with $100 bill
