We both had delicious shrimp dishes. Mine was bacon wrapped. Wife’s was with fresh vegetables. Started with the BEST tortilla soup ever. Be sure to ask for the house hot sauce. Very hot and flavorful.

Nice place deep in the heart of SC. We came upon this place by chance while in Bluffton for my son’s graduation from Parris Island. Staff was friendly, salsa and chips where warm and crispy. I had the shredded beef taco combo, taco only came in a hard shell, but it was beefy. Wife had the Chicken Tortilla Soup, which she liked and our other guest had the Fajitas. He loved it and it looked great arriving with steam flowing out. Had lots of beef and chicken along with roasted green peppers and onions. If you love real Mexican food, this might seem more Tex-Mex than authentic, but when you’re far from Southern California or the Southwest, this will give you a taste of home.
Great cooking. This is not another boring mex restaurant. There is a real chef in this kitchen. The cooking will surprise you. And go for the live music every other tuesday…… its terrific.
Carne asada. And carnitas mi tierra very good as was the soup.
Pros: salsa excellent, chips hot, beans flavorful. Cons: fajitas meat needs to be cooked longer and when we asked for extra tortitas and guacolmole they charged us extra- RIDICULOUS!
Food was good and hot, waiter was not. Slow service and over priced margiritas that were not very good. next time will just have beer or soft drinks but, will go back
