Nice place, laid back and Wed. Hump day 1.50 martinis. Not bad for a beautiful little town in SC. Had the ribeye(bar variety) but would definitely come back. PS: Cat is a great waitress.
Never going back again. The service was very slow. We waited an hour and 15 minutes from the time we ordered until it arrived at the table and there was only one other table of people there when we were seated. The waitress was unfriendly to the point of being rude. The food tasted good but was cold when it arrived at the table. The prices were reasonable but I expected hot food.With so many better options available on the same street (Sam Kendall and Salud), I will not waste my time going back to this restaurant again.
Shafted on crab legs. Went tonight (Tuesday) for the all you can eat crab legs. Got there at 6:55 pm (Prime time). Waitress seated us and took our drink order. We ordered of course crab leggs and the waitress told us they were not serving anyone else crab legs tonight because they had two parties of ten call in for reservations and they wanted to make sure they had plenty for them. I guess we were not good enough customers to get crab legs. Point here is you might not get crab legs on all you can eat crab leg night. Might want to call and see if they have some for you before you drive 40 miles one way as we did. First trip and probably last. They also have two signs on door saying Tuesday night is all you can eat crab legs?

Excellent Southern style food!. The pimento cheese and barbeque dip with chips sets the tone for a fine feast of bourbon-marinated pork chops, shrimp and grits, and barbeque ribs. My husband had a shrimp po-boy that pleased his palate and we have been back for more. We loved the parmesan grilled zucchini, okra, and mac and cheese, to say nothing of the fancy burgers with onion rings. Coolest restaurant!. Stumbled upon Hifalutin when looking for another restaurant and we fell in love. It’s an old bank turned into a restaurant! The tables had pennies as the table tops and the huge vault is visible in the back! So cool! Pimento Cheese BBQ dip sounded interesting so we tried it and it was amazing! My mom ordered the ribs which were to die for. I got the crab cakes which I expected to be a bust, but turned out so good! Everything is also priced very low. Will deff be coming back!
Just ate here – drinks are cheap compared to chain restaurants! Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Wonderful service. Definitely coming back!
