I never post reviews, but I had the most horrible experience at this restaurant today. First off, apparently their coca cola is sacred because trying to get a refill today was hell and then when we asked for a to go coke, the server brought back just a cup and I asked him if he could fill it up with ice and coke and he literally GRUNTED at our table. Before that, we had to chase him down every time we needed anything and he got an attitude EVERY TIME and when we were ordering our food, my friend asked him for three quesadillas multiple times and he kept repeating two back to her.. being a smart ass on purpose basically. I hate pulling the race card, but I really don’t think we would have been treated this way if we were of a different ethnicity. Long story short – THIS PLACE SUCKS !!!!!!!! – so yep, I’ll never be going back and I’ve always been a fan of Monterrey’s. Get it together people.

Now I know why business has gone downhill over the past few years!!! My husband and I went for lunch and 35 minutes later we still had not received our food!!! All we ordered was a speedy and chicken fajita nachos!!! I will never go back there!!!
Awful!! Our waiter never looked us in the eye, was always in a rush to get back to the counter and talk to fellow employees, and seemed grouchy like we ruined his day just by going there. Our food was hot but tasteless. Rice was dry, guacamole was soupy, brown, and not fresh to say the least. I waited 5 minutes for our waiter before I had to go get a to-go box from a nearby service station myself. Will never go back.
First off, this review is mostly a reflection of poor service, not food quality (Food was typical Mexican restaurant quality). Never have I had such poor service in any restaurant. Our waiter ran into my wife (no excuse me or apology), rushed us to order and never once showed any form of courtesy. We let the manager know and won’t be eating there again.
The best mexican restaurant in Columbia! I get their burritos, and love the chips and salsa!
