Turned Away. I arrived to order carry out at 1:38pm. The sign on the door says open til 2pm. I was told that the kitchen closes at 1:45pm and that they could not serve me. So…they are really not open until 2pm. Why not just say that you are open until 1:30pm or something. I hear that the food is wonderful but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This is not a very smart way to operate a business! This may be a minor issue but it really irritates me to no end to have wasted my time rushing to get there before 2pm, and for a carry out no less, only to be turned away! Now, I am torn on whether I want to support this business by returning or not.
Best She Crab in Charleston. Between the food, atmosphere, and service, I had a delightful lunch here. The owners are usually there to greet you and tell you about their lovely specials. The servers were attentive and personable. They are only open for lunch during the week but definitely worth visiting. It’s always a treat!
Wonderful. What an amazing place. I believe I am going to start a petition for them to be open weekends and evenings. I had the best she crab soup EVER here. It was so creamy and full of crab! Everything we had was amazing!
The shecrab soup was great. One special burger, oyster po-boy and a meat loaf sandwich made for a full family! The location is small, but the decor and kitchen was exquisite. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about delicious food.
WOW! Great food and great prices. The Steak Frites was extremely flavorful and the fries were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The waitstaff was very attentive and freindly never letting drinks get below half empty. I will definitely return of the opportunity arises.
Can’t Say Enough. We decided to try this place on a whim and it was more than worth it! I had the BLT which had a pattie of pimento cheese on it and it was phenomenal. My husband had the cobb salad and it was the best salad he has ever had. All of it was so flavorful.
