Wonderful food, wonderful service! We had amazing recommendations from our server including the calamari! We will definitely go back when we are in town.
I ordered from the vegetarian menu and was served a plate that was vegetarian besides a big hunk of sausage in it. This was very disappointing. The waitress was very nice, but the manager then came out and tried to tell me that I had mistaken a the sausage for a tomato.
We were recommended this restaurant by someone we met while in Charleston for good seafood. We were told this place did not need a reservation, so we didn’t make one. Upon arrival there was no parking so we parked in a nearby parking deck (no big deal we love to walk). Once inside the wait was 30 minutes. I asked for a menu and was told there was not enough real, plastic ones so I could use a paper one; there was a fairly large stack of real ones though. Immediately after I received a paper one, a man after me asked for a menu and the woman delightfully gave him a real one despite telling me there weren’t any to give away, so you can take that as you will. After watching SEVERAL families and couples go by with no wait, we grew impatient and left after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting. I personally was not impressed with the staff, wait time, and seating system at Fleet Landing. Hopefully others will have better luck than us.
