Very friendly staff! Excellent down home southern food!
The customer service was awesome unfortunately the fried chicken was not. The waitresses said that the fish and chicken are both cooked in the same grease.The highlight was the Mac n cheese and the veggies. If they’d only cook the meats in separate oil I’m sure my review would have been much different
My second meal at Front Porch. I am pleased to find a real home cooked style meal while traveling. This place is nothing fancy, BUT the food is REAL, close to what Mom used to make. The staff is friendly but slightly less than warm for the South. The food arrives HOT and Delicious. I had to try the deep fried pickles, they were interesting and good but combined with the meal, just to much to eat for one person.My first mael here, I had the flounder, fried squash and corn bread. it was wonderful. My second meal was steak (ground round) with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans, again it was grear. If you want good food at a reasonable price, this is the place.
HOME COOKING. This is the ultimate meat and vegetable Southern cooking stop. If you don’t like fried country food, then this isn’t the place for you. I haven’t eaten anything that is bad here. My personal favorites are the fried chicken and fried squash. The BBQ, pork chops and roast beef are also wonderful. Go hungry because the portions are large! Wooden tables and chairs, no fanfare, as you order from the white board on the wall with the days menu offerings.
Food was definately better then a 72%rating alittle hole in the wall with good country cooking
