My wife and I stopped by for dinner on a whim. It was the best dinner decision we’ve made in a long time! The atmosphere is great and immaculately clean, the service is prompt and professional, and not to mention the food is incredibly good! Professional and excellent service. I always passed this restaurant but never stopped to try. Boy have I missed out perhaps one of the best soulfood establishments in South Carolina. I highly recommend this place to everyone,especially ladies do not cook as good as mom/grandma and miss a good home cooking combined with loving people!
Great Place!!!. We found this place on the Internet. The place was very clean and nice with a relaxing atmosphere. The food delicious and the service was very friendly. We will stop back by in the future.
Great Southern cooking and hospitality. My husband and I were traveling near Columbia and wanted to enjoy some good Southern cooking and hospitality. We found it at Bert’s. The entire menu and the specials sounded delicious but we decided on the vegetables. The fried green tomatoes and the sweeticed tea were some of the best we’ve ever had. The mac and cheese, black-eyed peas, sweet potato souffle nd collard greens were to die for. And then there’s the grilled pound cake and coconut pie. Truly yummy. The hostess Kathy was a Southern delight–friendly and full of great conversation. We will definitely visit again.
