Outstanding BBQ, delicious beyond belief! Just ate here for the first time. Everyone was friendly, very fast service and a super large pulled pork sandwich was only $4.00. Don’t miss the banana pudding – wow!
I heard that this place was good and thought I would try it. Boy were they wrong. The BBQ was so so at best and the ribs taste like they were boil. Gross !
Tasty sides too. The barbecue is good but not outstanding. Sauce is excellent including the hot sauce but depends on your personal preference. Green beans and collards are very good. Macaroni is stellar, buttery and peppery, not as cheesesaucy. Hash (brunswick stew) is great, I usually choose it over the pulled bbq pork. Get it slathered in sauce, as the side sauce cups they give you aren’t voluminous. Plus, bread costs extra, which is a shame. Otherwise, the price/food ratio is very favorable.
Big T’s is awesome especially the Garners Ferry rd location.
Not too bad. Better than Hudson’s Smokehouse and cheaper! It’s amazing that this place has been around as long as it has, and doesn’t have more reviews. Oh well, guess that’s why it’s my job to fix that. Anyway, que is lightly smoked and goes great with their mustard sauce. Kind of like Sweatmans’s sauce, but not as thick. I ate the Big T dinner for just under $8 and I was full through lunch the next day. People that work there are super nice and do a great job. Line can get long, so get there earlier if possible.
