I love this place and have been going since they opened (since before, actually, for a New Year’s Eve party). I love their drinks and Kat is one of my two all-time favorite bartenders in Columbia and one of my three all-times in Columbia and beyond. If you like seeing your bartenders work, definitely sit at the bar. They’ll also talk you through drink selections and help you find the perfect cocktail for you.The food 95% of the time AMAZING, the other 5% is probably a matter of my own taste. The service is usually totally on point. I do have my favorite servers, who REALLY take care of me. It does get busy in there and they don’t typically do reservations, so make sure you’re ready for a bit of a wait just in case (there’s a dive bar just 6ish doors down where we go to grab a cocktail after putting our names on the list). My go-tos are the pork chop (I used to be vegetarian, so a meat dish that I go crazy for is a huge deal), the pork sliders if they have them, the bavette steak, anything on the brunch menu, and the specials are great!
