Happily Surprised. We went last week since my mom had a dealsaver that was about to expire…LOVED IT!! We had the cheesy chicken dip with homemade tortilla chips for a starter. We all agreed we could have eaten each separately they were both so good. The homemade tortilla chips are amazing! Little bit of sweetness flavor to them. My fianc had the cheeseburger – you could tell that it was homemade patties, not the pre-made ones that some places just throw on the grill. My mom and I both had the fried chicken sandwich (she had hers in buffalo sauce)…this sandwich was delicious! It comes with bacon and pimento cheese at no extra charge…now a days it seems restaurants charge you for every additional thing. It could have used a bit more pimento cheese, but was fantastic. The hand cut fries were great too. Our server, Brett, was very polite and attentive. He did tell us that the kitchen would be closed for the summer – I hope they decide to open for dinner at least maybe Thurs/Fri/Sat because I will definitely be going back. If they don’t…man, I hope they get the same chef back for the fall.
