Medium well more like burned to a crisp. Ate here this evening, or should I say tried to. We both ordered chili and medium well hamburgers and the results were mediocre at best. The chili was tasty but really only luke warm; felt as though it had been sitting around for some time. When the burgers came out the meat was over cooked to the point there was a thick crust on the meat and was grey through and through. We only had a few bites and couldn’t make it through the very dry meat. The manager took all of $4 off our ticket which came to a sum of just over $41; this did include two beers. The best part of the meal were the fries. All in all we will never return to this place and felt pretty bad for the waitress whi stated that food had been coming out the kitchen over cooked all day.
Awful! I ordered a burger, not tree bark. My burger was burnt to pieces and some of the inside wasn’t even fully cooked. If you enjoy burnt burgers – this is your place. We won’t be back.
Rude Service. If you want to get glared at by rude waitresses, this is the place for you.
Best burgers in Columbia. Get the Charleston. Killer French fries.
Food is nicely presented, but the burgers just aren’t juicy. And any well done orders are burnt on the edges. The sides taste good except for the bland pasta salad. Save money and go to Five Guys or Mack’s on Laurel in the afternoon.
Veggies burger and fries were both very good and reasonably priced. Still, I have to agree with other users that the service was terrible. Slow and inattentive. If they get the service up to bar it would be a huge improvement. Craft beer offerings were limited as well.
I really enjoy the place I even do call in orders, but they have taken a few things off the menu, not sure why. The blue cheese cloeslaw, Jojo fries and sweet potatoe fries are all good. The down side is when you see a burger they have on the menu and want to alter it slightly you have to build your own and ends up costing more. I wanted the blue cheese stuffed burger but it has pork and the stuffing is pre made so I asked for the blue cheese crumbles that they add to the top with the rest of the items from the burger and I did not like the fact if someone may not eat something or is allergic you have to pay more! Then my boyfriend order the bonus 77 he loves it but this day he just want one party not two the girl once again made us build a burger or we would be charged full price with only one party it was slightly cheaper but I am sure ppl get double patties why would she not just take that value and subtract it from menu price for a single. Good food but never build your own
