Went once due to the good reviews and got the standard sandwich only to receive a soggy, greasy chicken sandwich. Went a second time to confirm and it was the same. Plenty of other good chicken places that have way better food for similar prices.
Great Cheap Lunch. Best chicken sandwhich in Columbia. And they now take debit/credit cards!

Not Impressed. I’m not sure why exactly this place gets such rave reviews. My personal experience has never been good at Duck In. The first time I ate there, I had one of their cheeseburgers. The food was flavorless, and very undesirable to eat. Granted, Drakes is known for their chicken, but that doesn’t mean the taste of something else offered on their menu should be any less in quality. Something else I’ve noticed both the first and second time I’ve entered the restaurant, it smells bad. I’m not sure what the source of the smell is, but I’m not taking any further risk after my first experience.
Why follow the herd and go to Chick-fil-a when you can duck in to Drake’s! Chicken sandwich has TWO pieces of breast on it! Won’t find that at the national chain.
Love this place. Love the food i’ve been going there for years love the burgers hotdogs and the slaw is amazing,i tried just about everything on he menu,great place to eat.
Duck a lish. This is a What you look for what you hear the term great little local dive in the best way, its been around for over 100 years and there is always someone there while there open. Breakfast is like mom made back in the day, sausage, egg’s, pancakes, Real grit’s with Real cheese.. Do not let the docs Find this please. Homemade burgers that are kicking and amazing chicken sandwich, there open early and close early also, that is the reason most do not know about it, but its well worth getting there before closeing at 530. Better 6 am
