Good food, excellent beer selection, and every bartender I’ve had there has been friendly and engaging. They also have various good beer deals on week nights. Generally great atmosphere. One of the best bars in Columbia.
Worst establishment ever!! They tow people left and right, it’s disgusting! Spend your money else where! Yuck!
Hello?. Service was horrible. Waitresses stood around like they were at a night club tslking to each other and oblivious to what they served. Never again.

A good selection of beer and fairly good food. Ive been to other flying saucers, and while they were better than this one I still enjoyed visiting. We didnt have any issues with service or beers being out when we were there. Maybe because it was early on saturday and it wasnt busy yet. They had a lot of good local beers to try, I did a build-your-own flight series of SC/NC beers. Relatively decent selection in bottles too. My wife got the burger with the fried egg (I forget the name) with the german potato salad. Both were quite good. I got the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it was also quite good. Ive had better food in other places in columbia, but you would be hard pressed to find a better beer selection.
How would anyone get a saucer when it’s difficult to get a beer?. On my last two visits to Flying Saucer, I noticed the availability of beer on the menu continues to shrink as if FS liquidating. Last night we had a large group and every single time someone asked for a beer, the server said that were out of that one. That continued with each person listing 3-4 beers before they could find one they actually had. These were not unusual beers either…on the menu of most establishments. If you don’t keep beer stocked, why such a huge menu? Please scale that down significantly to what you do have and make it easier on your servers and much left frustrating on your customers. We eventually left…to get a beer!!!
