One of my favorite place for middle eastern food in columbia, love their lentil soup, there are days where I craved for their lentil soup which comes along with entree, rice is flavorful which comes along with their Kabob (entree), I specially visit this place to have their lentil soup!!.Overall great service.
A lovely restaurant near the statehouse. The food exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning. So far, I’ve only had the veggie kabobs and rice. They are so good, it may be a few more trips before I try something else.
Had a chicken pita wrap! It was delicious! Meat was tender and well seasoned. I would have liked more feta on the wrap. Waitress delivered excellent service and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Overall Score: 4.33 stars.Summary: We really like this spot. It does not show up in the top 10 in the Mediterranean Category on Yelp, but it really should. We like it so much that two of us mindlessly walked here assuming it was the Olive Grill, which is on our Challenge List and was meant to be the Challenge kick-off. Oh well.Food: Delicious. One of the tastiest Mediterranean options in Columbia. The Turkish menu brings some new options to the table. Service: Engaging – very nice conversations with waitstaff, and drinks stayed full.Timeliness: Slow – it took much longer than we would like for lunch to hit the table.Parking: average – its on campus, and that is rough.Daily Specials – didn’t see any.Ambiance – nice enough, though a little sterile and conflicted with the televisions.Bathrooms – Usable – Publican liked them.Intangibles – nothing too notable here.
Just ate my first lunch here, and I’m delighted to find such a good restaurant so close to campus. I had the gyro wrap with side feta salad — delicious! Service was excellent, with Kira taking great care of me. She’s awesome! The table next to me ordered the pizza, and it looked fantastic. Prices were reasonable, too. This place will definitely be one of my go-to lunch spots now.
Some of the best Mediterranean food I have had in SC. We loved the hummus and everything else we tried. Great atmosphere and great service.
Best middle eastern food in town!. I dined in today and met the owner because i wanted to tell him how wonderful the food and service is every time my boyfriend and i come. I am from egypt and he is from saudi arabia and we both agree that the green olive tastes just like back home. I highly recommend this place and its better than Sahara restaurant. We love the gyro plate and the curry and the lentil soup and hummus. We had the rice with milk today for desert and also that was superb. The owner is so friendly and really cares about his restaurant and his guests. This place is a must eat!!!
